Ann Troy & Her Endless Pool
"Endless Pools, I love you. Let me count the ways."

Repeat business is one of the best recognized gauges of consumer loyalty. Just consider Ann's recent letter to us, "Endless Pools, I love you. Let me count the ways." Ann bought her second pool after the purchaser of her house offered an additional $10,000 for her first one. The cash notwithstanding, the interim period was tough. "Oh, how I missed my beloved pool," Ann writes. "I promised myself my new house would have an Endless Pool. In fact, I promised myself that for the rest of my life I'd have an Endless Pool, even if it meant buying a dozen of them!"

A pediatrician who cares for many children, Ann is happy to have two decades of public-pool swimming behind her, especially since she is severely hard of hearing and sight impaired.

"No need to worry that the pool is only open an hour and a half for evening lap swim or is closed for repairs, holidays, vacations, or because it's Sunday," she points out. No hunting for a locker, no waiting for a lane, no worrying about swimming too fast or too slow for someone else, no worry about someone smashing into me, a child jumping on me, or being hit by a flying kick board.

Once inside her new home, Ann enclosed her pool in a sunroom addition. "In the summer, with all the windows open, I have an outdoor pool; in the winter, with all the windows closed, I have an indoor pool. A pool I can use every day of the year."

Not exactly an impulse shopper — she considered some 200 houses before settling on her present home — Ann nonetheless bought her first Endless Pool without ever having seen one. "I was consistently impressed by the company's literature, video, and the way they interacted on the phone. I just loved the concept, and I've never regretted the decision."

The Endless Pool may indeed be a value-added home improvement but owners like Ann find it priceless. As she puts in her letter: "I had a dream that someone offered me a million dollars to part with my Endless Pool and never have another one. Are you kidding?! What could I possibly buy with a million dollars that would give me this much happiness?!"
